So, at APO I picked up an old 2-volume Britannica World Language Dictionary for $3 because it looked nifty and had the best mass/cost ratio there. Turns out it has an English to French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, and Yiddish (and vice-versa) dictionary in it, which is pretty cool. It'll also be 50 years old by the time I graduate.

I've been feeling like I know a lot of people lately. DOOMFrosh are pretty cool, and I've been enjoying hanging out in DOOMCom. I also registered for classes today. My advisor was fine but uninspiring (he didn't live up to the awesomeness of his name, Cyphers); Mary was more fun, but whatever. I haven't dropped any classes yet, but I picked up an Add/Drop form (in addition to a Concentration Proposal form (which I need to from Nagatomi-sensei about sometime) and a HASS Minor Proposal form) for that express purpose. Let's see, what do I have tomorrow... 7.012 (bio), 6.034 (AI), 6.002 (Circuits) recitation, and Japanese (21f.505). Should be interesting... the only one of those I might drop is 7.012, and only if it sucks, because I should get it out of the way. Though, when I was looking at old psets to see if I thought I needed to get a book at APO, it looked submaximally unfun. So we'll see.

Well, off to beddies, I need to be in class by 10.
